Prepare for "the greatest call for global peace the world has ever experienced" as the Peace One Day Celebration 2025 is announced, featuring a mammoth live concert at OVO Arena Wembley on Sunday, September 21. This landmark event, coinciding with Peace Day, aims to ignite a worldwide movement for peace, streamed free to every continent.
Music icon Dave Stewart of Eurythmics, a Peace One Day Ambassador, is joining forces with Jeremy Gilley MBE, Peace One Day Founder, to orchestrate an unforgettable day of music and advocacy. They will be joined by an impressive array of international artists and thought-leaders, including Daryl Hall, Basement Jaxx, Emmanuel Kelly, Nastya Kamenskykh (NK), Innoss’B, and Young Voices. Legendary humanitarian Sir Bob Geldof and presenter Laura Whitmore are also confirmed as international speakers and hosts, with more names expected to be announced in the coming months.
The concert seeks to highlight the remarkable trend that Peace Day (September 21) consistently sees a reduction in violence globally. This diverse and inclusive live experience will celebrate the significant milestone of three billion people now being aware of Peace Day, aiming to spread its message even further. The lineup will feature artists and speakers, many of whom hail from regions currently experiencing conflict, bringing powerful firsthand perspectives to the stage.
Dave Stewart is set to release the Peace One Day Anthem later this summer, and the Wembley concert will offer audiences the very first public live performance of this highly anticipated track.
Stewart emphasized the urgency of the moment: "Never before has our world been in a more urgent need for peace. The Peace One Day live concert will bring music artists and thought leaders from across the globe together, on a mission to stand together as one, irrespective of your political views or religious creed." He urged everyone to "join us at Wembley on 21 September, Peace Day, so we all move together in solidarity towards peace."
The full day’s broadcast will be available to watch on peaceoneday.org and across all Peace One Day social media channels. Tickets for this historic event go on sale at 10 AM on Friday, June 13,
