Producers Prince Paul and Dan ‘The Automator' Nakamura (Deltron 3030, Gorillaz, Lovage) make-up the off-the-wall collective known as Handsome Boy Modeling School.

Paul and Dan adopted their alter egos of Chest Rockwell and Nathaniel Merriweather, respectively and go on to deliver an album packed with beats, rhythms, melodies and quirky sound-bytes.

The phone book of Prince Paul and Dan Nakamura must run into triple figures judging by the list of collaborations that they called on to help out on their latest project. The Deftones front man Chino Moreno lends his vocals and guitar to the ominous ‘The Hours'. The soothing vocals of Julee Cruise and The Neptunes/NERD Pharrell Williams relax in ‘Class System'. ‘The World's Gone Mad' featuring Franz Ferdinand vocalist Alex Kapranos, Del The Funky Homosapien and Barrington Levy. RZA and The Mars Volta feature on ‘A Day In The Life' the list continues.

Handsome Boy's only prior release was the 1999 Tommy Boy effort ‘So...How's Your Girl?' The new offering is as strange interspersed throughout with skits voiced by Father Guido Sarducci or actor Tim Meadows as his ‘Saturday Night Live' character "the Ladies Man.' The combination of reggae, rap, soul and old school hip hop creates a listening pleasure unlike any other.
