After collaborating with pop superstar Justin Bieber on their 2014 hit track Playtime, California-born singer and songwriter Khalil is now back again with his newest track entitled Simple. The track kicks off with a gentle yet catchy strum of a guitar, leading into the sharp and smooth vocals from the man himself. After the drums make their way in, Khalil serenades listeners with his echo-esque verses that contain a large range of pitches. While I liked the song for the most part, I do think it could've been just a little less repetitive.
However, on top of being a great song, it's also accompanied by a visually-stunning music video as seen above. Only time can tell where this highly-talented R&B artist will go next, as he prepares for the release of his newest project appropriately titled Long Way From 916.
