Amelia Curran was born to write music, a songwriter by trade, but a writer at heart, she believes language is everything.
After the success of her critically acclaimed and award winning album ‘Hunter Hunter’ released in the UK last year, Amelia is excited to announce her return to the UK with a string of live dates (Full tour details below).
Curran’s music showcases Folk/Country and Americana at it’s best, teamed with hustling blues, acoustic numbers, it’s her signature vocals and beautifully written lyrics that enable her to stand out amongst the crowd.
Since the release of her first album in 2000, Curran has an impressive discog-raphy which each year have gained a number of East Coast Music Award nominations including ‘Folk Recording Of The Year’, ‘Female Recording Of The Year’, until last year when her album triumphed over all and won the much desired Juno Award.
Amelia has recently sung with the Nova Scotia Symphony Orchestra and has been working hard on her highly anticipated new album due for release in 2012.
