RadioDriveBy

RadioDriveBy Is a Five-piece alternative rock/pop punk band, from Tempe Arizona! They have been playing together for a little over two years. They came together back in 2009. Has a band they are still going strong and will be for a long time. They are doing what they love. They get up every morning knowing that they get to live their dreams and they would not have it any other way. So be on the look out for RadioDriveBy because they have a lot in store for you down the rode.

Would you tell us how you got started in the music world? 


We just began by writing songs, recording them, putting out music, and playing shows. We continued to do that and get better, and people started noticing!

Who is your inspiration?
We all have very different inspirations, from bands like Kings of Leon and Paramore to John Mayer, Foo Fighters, Mayday Parade, and more.

Have you ever been in a music competition? 

We have been in Battle of the Bands before, and won a contest to play with Alice Cooper for 5 thousand people back in 2010.


How do you handle mistakes during a performance? 

Usually just trying to recover from it and move on. Sometimes it's best just to laugh it off!


Do you get nervous before a performance or a competition? 


I think we used to, but after playing a lot of shows you learn to turn the nerves into excitement.


Have you ever thought, "this is what life was made for?"


This is definitely what we all want to be doing. Music is our passion, and we're very lucky to have people who support us.


Do you ever get lost in the music? 


Definitely. Music is extremely powerful.


Do you plan to make music for as long as you can?
Yes! We are trying to make this our career!


What size venues do you like to play most? 


We prefer club-size venues because they are intimate yet still loud and fun. Although we are definitely looking forward to playing larger crowds and rooms in the future!


Who does the song writing in your band? 

Usually Trent and Adam get the main idea for a song, with lyrics or melody and some chords, and then everyone throws their spin on it.

What are your goal and dreams for your music career?
We want to make music for as many people as possible! And travel the world :)




What are your thoughts on doing an album?
Right now we think it's best to put out smaller bits of music, and an EP, but we are really looking forward to doing a full record soon.



What age rang would you say your music speaks to? 


I think our music speaks to a younger crowd, kids in high school and college, and also just anyone who can relate to our songs.

Why do you think you stick out from other artist in your genre? 

I think we have a unique sound; we work really hard, and have our own style of doing things that we've created over time.


What is your thought on your fans? 


We are absolutely so thankful for all of them! It's amazing to see people connecting with our music all across the world. We are very grateful for every fan.
