Imagine the Killers were from Manchester and instead of the increasingly-boring Brendan Flowers the frontman was a northerner with an attitude and charisma to rival Liam Gallagher and Alex Turner – and you’ll be picturing something along the lines of Reemer. Rockstar is a catchy indie anthem that might not jump out at you as groundbreaking but will without doubt creep into your mind and have you tapping your feet and singing along. Frontman Dave Hunter does enough to make this song stand out from the rest of the indie tracks in the same vein.
