If you want a refreshing mix of traditional and contemporary songs to play by an open fire in the highlands with your loved one on one arm and a bottle of Glenfiddich in the other then this just might be it.

Annie Grace is best known for her time with on vocals for Iron Horse but since they split in 2001 she has branched out on her own and has never looked back. 'Take me out drinking tonight' [great title] is a blend of beautifully crafted acoustic folk/country songs that slide down the throat as well as any pure malt. Relaxed, competent and beautifully produced it conjured up images of green lush meadows broken only by a small cottage with smoke twirling from the chimney on a cold winters day, and if you could see the state of our office you'd know just exactly what a feat that really was.

'Take me out drinking tonight' is released on Feb 1st.
