The latest offering from Jamaican reggae king Shaggy has distinct echoes of Crunk & B, the new genre of “high energy hip hop” pioneered by American R&B artist Ciara. Shaggy's still at the cutting edge of R&B but Wild 2nite isn't an in-your-face crowd-pleaser like It Wasn't Me and other massive releases. It lacks the personality Shaggy's known for and it's far from a catchy tune, but it'll probably still do well in the charts.

Wild 2nite features Olivia from G-unit and is taken from Shaggy's sixth studio album Clothes Drop, with collaborating artists including Black Eyed Peas.
