This is the latest release from Sony, using that famous military poster as a basis for a compilation. So far we have had Keep Calm and Relax and Keep Calm and Stay Cosy. Now the energy levels are increased, and we are told to Keep Calm And Be Happy. If you can get passed the rather annoying over use of this military slogan in recent years (look at all those mugs and tee-shirts around), and listen to the music, the previous releases have been rather impressive. In fact they have sold more than 350 thousand sales between them.

So with summer sort of upon us, the timing of this release is obvious. Bouncy tunes like Robbie Williams' Candy, Outkast's Hey Ya and the ubiquitous Call Me Maybe from Carly Rae Jepsen are meant to provide a sing-a-long soundtrack to any of the sunshine we might get - whether in the car or at home hosting a barbeque.

As ever there is a rich array to listen to across three discs, with 60 tracks included. There are some excellent choices too that underline how the women are dominating music over the last few years, with Laura Mvula's Green Garden a classy inclusion alongside poppier bed fellows from the likes of Pink, Jessie J and Natasha Bedingfield.

The Coral's In The Morning and The Zutons' original of Valerie add some 'rockier' moments, with TLC's classic No Scrubs a pleasant and surprising addition. As ever there are a few curve balls, where you wonder what went through the compiler's mind. Here Westlife's Uptown Girl seems a strange choice, as does Will Young's Switch It On.

There doesn't seem to be any particular theme per disc, but the further you go on, the slightly older the material gets and slightly more irritating it becomes too. While Outkast's Hey Ya is a welcome classic, the arrival of Scouting for Girls 59 tracks in is just too much sugar after all the happiness before that. Perhaps listen to the album on random, and have a rest half way through!
