The world is definitely a better place for bands like Limozine – this is the band at their prime!

The ‘album’ has 10 tracks and the longest is under 3 minutes but they say all they need to in 24 minutes of pure pop/punk pizzazz.
They don't do anything more than the track needs - you could call it primitive but that's ok; primitive means pure in my book.

Limozine have been compared to bands like the Ramones and the Crammps but to my mind they have more of a Dickies vibe to them – each album has a different feel and edge and while this is right in the ’77 groove it fits right into their kind of groove.

The album was recorded over a long weekend in Coventry and it sounds like it – there isn’t a moment of filler.
I can’t say which is the standout track ‘cause they all work but ‘Tokyo 1970’ and the title track are just wicked while ‘Johnny Got Shot By A UFO’ (the band say it’s based on a true story!) is just so fresh and snotty it’s irresistible. The album closer, ‘Medical Experiments’ is the one I’ll be listening to time and again but the whole album fits into a quick trip on the tube so I’ll just put it on repeat and enjoy the ride.
