Powerful and aggressive to the point of overpowering – this is an awesome mutha of an EP.

Beats, huge riffs, and massive vocals, it all comes over the hill at you like a juggernaut and the only place to go is under its wheels. This is bludgeoning and dark, so bleak and forceful that you either bend to the blast of it or cower under the relentless pressure of the music. ‘Molotov’ is a perfect example – it ebbs and flows and then, with a burst of machine gun beats, blasts an assault that is so fierce your ancestors can feel it.

And yet .. the exultation of the vocals on ‘The Feeling’ suggests that there is an almost Muse-like anthemic quality to them. ‘Anarchy’ gives the lie to that though – they like the power and the glory.

In the absence of any new material from Enter Shikari this stands proud and alone and one of the best things I’ve heard this year.
