Miniature Dinosaurs

Stirling-based four piece Miniature Dinosaurs have gone from strength to strength this year. Not only have they bagged various summer festival slots (including Wickerman Festival this weekend), but they have also recently signed to UK label Integrity Records. The first release through Integrity Records is their gorgeous new single ‘Lemonade’

‘Lemonade’ comes with all the sweet and bubbly connotations its title suggests, with indie-pop as the dominant genre here. Lemonade is upbeat and effervescent, a bright and soul-lifting alternative to the sunshine we never had this summer. Barry MacLean’s deep and oddly infectious lead vocal, a mix between David Byrne and Richard Butler, is the big ribbon that ties the whole song together. One listen to this song will never be enough, Lemonade is an anthem to enjoy repeatedly all summer long.
