Ray Lamontagne

With rave reviews of his debut album, Trouble, still ringing in his ears, Lamontagne releases one of its tracks, the delightful Forever My Friend. The passion in the vocal is equal to Damien Rice, and the conga acoustic laziness gives an easy west coast feel. The percussion and pre chorus drum fills drift serenely underneath a stunning vocal performance.

A perfect tone and tempo for a cool summer, aided by a gorgeous string playout. It's a glorious combination.
