Following the success of its Live Music nights, The Roof Gardens in Kensington is fast becoming the number one place to see the hottest up-and-coming artists in London.

The award-winning venue has unveiled a roll-call of fantastic names that will perform on Friday and Saturday nights from 7pm until the end of March, including Pop Idol acoustic beauty Sarah Whatmore, the hot London four piece Appelican Healy and stand-out vocal artists Tiger Lilly, Jess Goyder and Lydia Baylis.

This winter, the experience is further enhanced with a new marquee in the Tudor garden, which has a clear roof so you can dance the night away under the stars. Uniquely located 105ft above Kensington High Street, and surrounded by three beautifully themed gardens, The Roof Gardens offers a totally different nightlife experience.

Guests will enjoy the music in the surroundings of the Tanqueray Bar or in The Red Room, whilst sipping on a delicious and specially created, Tanqueray gin cocktails made by some of London’s top mixologists. The gin claims to have a natural affinity with live music, which saw the recent ‘Tonight We Tanqueray’ campaign bring together music stars Aloe Blacc (I Need a Dollar) and Karen Elson (supermodel turned singer) to celebrate starting the night right.

This particular soiree featured Abi Phillips (with support acts Sam Gray and X-Factor’s Joe Adam), a singer-songwriter from the West Midlands and currently plays the character of Liberty in the Channel 4 show ‘Hollyoaks’. To add to that accolade, over the past year, no less than eight of Abi’s original compositions have appeared in various major story lines in the show, including the first reality / soap tie which culminated in appearing at Channel 4s ‘T4 on the Beach’ alongside some of the biggest current names in pop. At 18 years of age, Abi is already making waves as one of the country’s best new young songwriters on the pop scene the likes of which now have a fitting night at which to progress.
