Katzenjammer

Katzenjammer looks odds on to be the next big thing to come out of Norway. An all girl four-piece formed of Anne Marit Bergheim, Marianne Sveen, Solveig Heilo and Turid Jorgensen. They blend a heady mixture of folk, pop, rock, and country with ethnic influences added for good measure.

Their debut album ‘Le pop’ was released in September 2008 and they have just released their follow up ‘A Kiss Before You Go’ in Europe which is slated for a UK release in early 2012.

Currently on a sold out tour or Europe Music-News.com were lucky enough to grab some time with the girls backstage at Grosse Farenheit in Hamburg after a storming show.
