Fantastical indeed!
Four numbers that are powerful, passionate, melodic and completely relevant.

Their rhythms are very danceable with choppy riffs and excellent playing. It all kicks off with ‘Perspex Princess’ – angry and snotty with a wonderful Farfisa organ sound and pounding guitars in the break and then changes direction entirely with ‘Somebody’s Daughter’: still impassioned and hard hitting but less aggressive.
‘Irony Tower’ has a wonderful bassline and yet another powerful vocal performance and ‘Mr K’ is vaulting and massive – a great piece of pop.
All four tracks sound as though they would be killers live

The last two bands who sounded as though their music has this much power and integrity this early on were the Kaiser Chiefs and the Arctic Monkeys – if the world is ready then so are The Book Club.
