The eighth collection in the hugely popular Pop Party series, Pop Party 8 is a CD and DVD package of the biggest recent pop smashes. The CD features 23 tracks from the likes of Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and Black Eyed Peas, while the DVD includes music videos and more from huge artists such as Pixie Lott, the Wanted and Taio Cruz
As with other Pop Party CDs this is aimed at the younger end of the market, and the inclusion of 2 Justin Bieber tracks serves to confirm this. On the whole the tracks are pretty current, however the inclusion of Cheryl Cole's Fight For This Love', Miley Cyrus's 'Can't be Tamed' and Pixie Lott's 'Turn It Up' do seem a bit dated compared with the rest of the album.
Jedward also get an inclusion rework Blink 182's 'All the Small Things'; thankfully it is the final track so you can eject before getting this far!!
The inclusion of a DVD full of pop videos, plus some interesting behind the scenes Making Of footage makes this a comprehensive package for young pop fans.
