Paloma Faith (True Tiger Mix)

A good remix should totally transform a track into something different or new and True Tiger have done exactly this with their dubstep re-jig of Paloma Faith’s new single. By messing with her vocal to repeat certain passages over a sluggish bass lead rhythm, these hot producers have made Paloma sound cool which is surely some feat. The overdubs lend a slightly ravey quality to the track which has been championed by Radio 1xtra recently.

True Tiger have exploded onto the mainstream lately with some huge club smashes on their own label as well as this remix for Miss Faith. They have also worked their magic on tunes by Macy Gray, Professor Green and De La Soul and were also behind the number one Tinie Tempah tune ‘Pass Out’. This seems to be their time and this latest collaboration only confirms their status as the power behind the UK urban throne.
