Orphan Boy

Some Frontier is the new single taken from Manchester band Orphan Boy’s latest album Passion, Pain and Loyalty.

It’s a jaunty, lively song. A tribal rhythm intro leads into very familiar indie, swirly, guitar territory accompanied by quite a half-hearted terrace vocal. There are a few flourishes from the guitarist but generally this if firmly in the indie/pop category rather than rock.
