Ghostlight are a London via Cambridge 4-piece who play dreary melodic rock, with Photographs the first single to be taken from their yet named debut album.

Channelling the pulling on the heart strings soft rock of Snow Patrol (sorry chaps), Train and the like, Photographs is an unrewarding listen. So formulaic and dated the painfully drab track marks a significant lack of creativity for the band. It goes without saying that chart success is probably forthcoming. “Well it's really hard to say but I think about you almost everyday” Meh.

B-side This City isn't much better, except for one tiny moment when it recalls The Shins. Tiny moment though.

Probably best avoided.
