The Charlatans

The Charlatans were one of the "shoe gazing" hits of the early 90's, with 'The Only One I Know' being one of the tracks most synonymous with the Madchester scene.

They are now back after a 2 year break with new album 'Who We Touch', and the lead single 'Love Is Ending'. And on the basis of the single, the band are maturing well with age. The track is very current, slightly reminiscent of Richard Ashcroft but some how still retains The Charlatans sound. It's a frantic track with Tim Burgess's vocals taking control overall, as the guitars try and keep up.

Good return to form from a band that is still on top of it's game. Looking forward to hearing the album.
