Violent Soho

The sound is somewhere between punk and slacker- grunge but the overall effect is a bucketing and power-packed little ditty.

They are Australian although you might not recognise the accents and the and the production is pure Noo Yawk – between Thurston Moore, Rick Rubin and Gil Norton they have gotten a monstrous single out of a bunch of of ex-Church band members.

Really one for fans of Mastodon or Interpol and with some great power guitar from Luke Boerdam and James Tidswell.

There is a massive buzz around these guys at the moment – watch them, cause they could be going places fast.
