21 year old Eliza Doolittle delivers her second single 'Pack Up’ on the 5th July, followed closely by her self titled debut album on the 12th July. Pack Up, along with the rest of the album, is good time pop music which could be mistaken for Corrine Bailey Ray at times, however none CBR fans shouldn’t dismiss her just yet.

Following on from her respectable number 22 UK Charts single 'Skinny Genes’, Eliza produces another soulful offering which has an infectious chorus and summer written all over it.

Reading into Eliza’s background as a young Camden-ite who 'gets into trouble by being a bit blunt sometimes’, I immediately thought she would be somewhere between Kate Nash and Lily Allen. Refreshingly Eliza isn’t and would be better placed somewhere between Jack Johnson and Corrine Bailey Ray. Her music is 'nice’, but just nice. My bruiser Uncle has always told me that being nice will get me nowhere, but I reckon that it may take Eliza somewhere.

My 51 year old Mum would love Eliza Doolittle. My 17 year old brother would hate her.

'Pack Up' is out on the 5th July
