Eclectic is definitely a word that springs to mind here. Whilst the theme is 'lads music', the range of music and musical era's is far reaching. The modern stuff is sparse and comes from the likes of Kasabian and Faithless. However much is 80's and 90's, which is not a criticism!! Prefab Sprout, Bruce Hornsby, Kula Shaker, Japan and even Hall & Oates - all top, top tunes.
But then it goes back even further - Jeff Buckley, Patti Smith, Fleetwood Mac and The Vibrators all making welcome, and unusual compilation appearances.
Special mention for Stone Roses with the amazing Elephant Stone closing down CD3.
It's a strange mix of tunes, and even the order is a little random, but ultimately a great set of tracks for your MP3 player!!
