The Gaslight Anthem

As a taster for their forthcoming third album, 'American Slang’, this single works every way I could have wished for,
A massive, anthemic, piece of modern rock with the band’s trademark driving beats and stun guitars and with Brian Fallon’s hoarse vocals more musical than in the past.
The song has a huge hook and some fine playing and anyone who was a fan of 'The 59 Sound’ will recognise the band immediately from this.
It isn’t as though they have stood still though and the song shows that they have grown in confidence and sheer ballsout punch since the last album.

I can’t wait for the album, it should be a monster
