Music Go Music have gradually created quite a stir with their 70’s styled music, crossing somewhere between ABBA, ELO, The Carpenters and perhaps a bit of The Feeling (more current I know). Their sound is very harmonious, hook laden and sounds perfect with Meredith Metcalf’s gorgeous vocals.
Tracks like previous singles 'Warm in the Shadows’ and 'Just Me’ really sum up the beauty of this band. Epic tracks that just bring such a warm feeling and smile to you. The musical layers are deep, creating a very rich tone to their sound. Other standout tracks include 'Light of Love’ and 'Reach One’ each of which can’t help but put a spring in your step each time you listen. '1000 Crazy Nights’ is another stomping track – and surely a potential future single? 'Love Violent Love’ is another frantic, yet dramatic number that again soars as it delievers another killer chorus. It’s not all up tempo tracks though – 'Goodbye Everybody’ is a mellower piano led number that really takes you back to Karen Carpenter.
Music Go Music deserve to go far – there is nothing current that fits in their space, and with summer around the corner this is the perfect soundtrack.
