Audio Bully’s are back with their first album in four years, following on from 'Generation’. New album 'Higher Than the Eiffel’ is more akin to their 2003 debut 'Ego War’ with boundless energy this is squarely aimed at the dancefloor. Lead single 'Only Man’ sets the tone of the album, and tracks like 'Shotgun’ (complete with Nitro Deluxe sounding sample) 'Kiss The Sky’ and opener 'Drums’ really crank up the pace and BPMs to create a full-on sound, adding some heavy guitars in the mix as well

As an alternative comedown, tracks like 'Daisy Chain’ (quite I Monster) and 'Dynamite’ see the pace call down a little to deliver, with a more sultry atmospheric sound. 'Drained Out’ is in a similar style, and feels quite autobiographical telling the tale of the effects of drink and drugs.

'Twist Me Up’ features Suggs, as well as what seems like a sample of 'Our House’ (?). 'Feel Alright’ is very Happy Mondays, with plenty of vocal swagger, a bit like Kinky Afro. 'London Dreamer’ adds in a little dub-step beats to deliver a strong message

Across the 14 tracks there really is no duff numbers here. It’s a really assured, diverse album that delivers on so many levels, but most the dancefloor, in what ever musical style takes your fancy.
