After an astounding 2008, you'd have thought Scouting For Girls would have bounced back quickly with new material, however the band strived for perfection and instead of rush releasing their second album, took their time, including virtual scrapping of the first cut if the new album and starting again.

The new sound is a slightly maturer, less poppy, and lead single 'This Ain't a love Song' sets the tone well. It's less immediate but develops into a soaring number, with a very powerful ending. It’s quite OneRepublic in places which is no bad thing.

Promising return; will be interesting to see how the album differs from 2008. 'Everybody Wants To Be On TV’ is out on April 12th
