12 Stone Toddler are simply one of the most interesting and odd bands I’ve heard in quite some time. The backing track is reminiscent of old-school horror classics; days of cereal box monsters and tomato ketchup blood echo through the synth sound layering ‘This Suite’, and when the keyboards aren’t taking you back to the old school movie era, the tone of the guitar is so spot on it really feels like you’ve been warped back in time. Musically you’ll be hard pressed to pin down 12 Stone Toddler to a genre, they definitely fall somewhere in rock category, but just where I’m not sure; sometimes it’s a little bit oldie-stylie rock and roll, but sometimes it’s just, well, not. Basically, the only way to get a feel about what 12 Stone Toddler are actually about is to get out and have a listen for yourself. Lyrically the band have got it spot on, and it all suite the music almost perfectly, with the vocals again fitting hand in hand with everything else that is going on throughout the track.

You know what, there’s actually nothing I can really say about ‘This Suite’ or 12 Stone Toddler for that matter. It’s confusing enough to try and explain it all to you, so, to put this all simply, ‘This Suit’ is 3:13 of absolute genius. Go listen.
