The fifth edition of the highly successful annual round-up, R&B Yearbook 2009 is now out, and includes a mix of huge hits, and underground tracks. The big hitters include Beyonce’s "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" (she could have added 2 or 3 more on here!), along with recent No.1 hits from Chipmunk, JLS, Dizzee Rascal and Flo Rida as well as Top 10 hits from superstars like Whitney Houston, Lemar, DJ Ironik, Pitbull, Daniel Merriweather, Kid Cudi vs Crookers, Alesha Dixon, Ciara feat. Justin Timberlake and T.I.
Elsewhere you get the underground tracks from the likes of Joe, Brandy, Danity Kane, Laura Izibor and John Legend.
This album again shows that R&B (especially from the UK) is really trailblazing at present; there’s plenty of home grown talent here.
