Based on a similar format to Brighton’s very own Great Escape the Reeperbahn Festival encompasses a wide range of musical tastes. Much like the various streets at the centre of this neon lit metropolis the festival caters for all inclinations.

Now in its fourth year when the Reeperbahn Festival explodes into life next week there will be over 200 bands gracing the various venue stages ready to entertain and exhilarate. If you are looking for an international pedigree this year you can expect a rapturous reception for Biffy Clyro, Dinosaur Jr, Editors, Emiliana Torrini, José González, Reverend And The Makers and White Rose Movement.

The festival also prides itself on being a springboard for underground talent with clubs such as the Kaiserkeller, Prinzebar and Molotow nurturing unsigned talent in well equipt and intimate settings.

As well as catering for the live element the festival also acts as a hub for the music industry to congregate and discuss the latest pressing issues with a range of seminars and workshops also available at the Reeperbahn Campus.

Taking place between Thursday 24th and Saturday 26th September there is also no shortage of cafés and restaurants in this St.Pauli district where The Beatles first plied their trade before shooting to superstardom.
