Scott Herren's latest EP is a collection of tracks that didn't make it onto the current Prefuse 73 album 'One Word Extinguisher'. If you are familiar with the previous two Prefuse records then you will know what to expect. This record carries 23 stylish tracks filled with mad beats and samples chopped up using his trusty MPC machine.
Herren (Also known for his Delarosa & Asora, Savath & Savalas projects) never ceases to amaze with the imaginative raw broken beats and glitchy sounds that make up this very creative but strangely structured electro Hip Hop sound. But for people who haven't heard of Prefuse 73, this 38 minute album, is a good way to start. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
