MN: How long did it take you to put 'Perfect World' together?
Perfect World really began life in 2001 with Destination, the first single under the DT8 brand (when the act was just DT8 and not DT8 Project). At the time I was working on various tracks with Roxanne Wilde with whom we went our separate ways.? A decision was then made to bring in other artists and complete the album, something that's been ongoing ever since.
MN: How did you get Mory Kante and Gavin Rossdale involved?
Mory Kante actually wrote the Narama vocal against the Jurgen Vries track 'Wilderness' (bootleggers hint of the week) off the back of Sony.? I loved the vocal loads and wanted to do something more funky with it.? Gavin had heard the actual single "Perfect World" through fellow member of Bush Sacha Putnam.
MN: What would be in your perfect world?
Less starvation, cheaper beer, no more debt, less lunatic terrorists.? Oh and less music piracy please.
MN: The voice of an angel or the voice of Dot Cotton?
I worked with her and you want me to say the voice of Dot Cotton.? She'll beat me!
MN: What's next for DT8 Project?
We've got some other singles lined up, though another album is a long, long way off and to be honest unlikely to happen (so treasure this one folks).
MN: Tell us about your other pseudonyms?
Well Jurgen Vries is a mild mannered accountant from either Germany or Holland (depending on which country you're in at the time).? Obviously he did pretty well for himself.? Angelic was really just me, but Amanda ended up featuring on all the records and Jules wrote the vocals.? Orion was a trance project on Incentive, Citizen Caned a predecessor to Jurgen Vries on Serious and Darren Tate is - well who the hell knows who Darren Tate is anyway.
MN: What is your favourite track on the album?
Tough one as I like them all (obviously).? The re-mastered version of Winter, Succumb To The Night, Falling and The Power Of One probably (they're all tied).? Oh and Hold Me Till The End, Destination, ...
MN: What do your parents think about your music?
I haven't seen my father since I was four so God knows what he thinks.? The rest of my family are very proud and I'm pleased to say supportive.
MN: If you weren't a Producer/DJ, what would you do for a living?
What I was doing before probably - I.T.? Fun huh.? Though I also write and paint.

MN: Why should we buy Perfect World?
Because it's a genuinely good piece of music.? It's well produced, uplifting emotional, intelligent, and it sets standards for decent song writing in an age when we end buying millions of copies of crap.? If you want an album to listen to on a beach, I promise you this won't disappoint.
