Remember when rock was dirty and sordid, with big hair and tight trousers? Think Motley Crue, think Poison, by god that was when music was fun and Retox lets us recapture our youth for 14 tracks without once sounding out of date. It indulges us with a little foray into the past when everyone drank whisky, wore a ton of make up and didn’t go home until the sun came up. And you gotta love Turbonegro for that if nothing else.

If you are looking for moody teenage angst, you wont find it here. Neither will you find trendy scenesters, because it’s all about the kick ass tunes and 'Retox’ is full of them. Put this on on a Saturday night and you will be dusting down your spandex in no time. An absolute winner.
