New Young Pony Club

After seeing Maximo Park at close quarters at HMV promoting their new album I thought things could not get much better for me tonight but T-Mobiles series of Street Gigs have a way of skewing your better judgement.

On entering the Science museum, tonight’s location of choice, you could not help but be impressed by the size and majesty of the building and its contents (free to us all on a daily basis). Moving onwards to the bar I
was confronted by a terminator style robot (the dancing one out of the Citroen commercial) and trust me when that huge lump of steel starts stomping towards you the digestive tract loosens quite quickly.

Eventually, said robot lead us upstairs to for the main event. Playing cards for drinks, magicians and more robots filled the void prior to New Young Pony Club hitting the stage. AND NYPC were brilliant!!!
