A Star Is Born is a seven minute epic journey that relies on subtle hypnotic power rather than quirky dynamics. In a manner that Engineers use to good effect, gentle yet solid vocals float on a mid tempo force that grips firm and true. The lead single from their new 4 track release is a wall of deep, intense yet light feeling sound, and that's its strength. Seven minutes drift by in no time at all, and you're left feeling calmer and at the same time more energised for the experience.

The Day it Snowed demonstrates a passionate Beach Boys vocal like arrangement over twinkling keyboards and birds tweetering. I Think Of Nothing is a heart pulling string arrangement written by founder member, composer, singer and guitarist Michael Feerick with The Highly Strung Quartet. City Of Light on the other hand brings the Nottingham 5 piece back into rockier standard format mode, without compromising their spellbinding delivery.

The title track is the obvious lead single and will easily lend itself to being cut in half for radio play. The rest are examples of a band that must surely grow nearer the mass public's ear in time.
