DJ Shadow

DJ Shadow is best known for his Groundbreaking album 'Entroducing' from the mid 90's where he fused hip hop+trip hop with rock, funk, jazz and soul and created dark, sometimes introspective tunes scattered with samples from long lost tunes from unknown artists from record bins.

On his latest album he's driven away some fans by becoming too eclectic in his influences on his album tracks. However, 'This Time' is an all out soul record, some nice easy listening vocals over a cool,loose broken drumbeat, and big 70's sounding orchestral background. Sounds like it's come straight out of some 70's movie wearing flares and a Big Afro. This tune is gonna be right at home in many a chill out lounge,nice........
