This Greenwich three piece are a bristling new amalgamation of numerous influences and diverse directions. They don’t want to be pigeon-holed - 'whatever happens in the studio just happens’.

Well their debut EP echoes that sentiment, with three tracks and a remix. 'Lean From The Middle’, 'Under The Thumb’ and 'Happy Slap’ are an adventurous dip into upbeat jazz, soul and country sounds, lovingly blended over hip hoppy beats. Leo and Chris, the male contingent, playfully lyricise with Flo, the lass of the band. They’re bouncy musings are slightly reminiscent of a young Beautiful South, albeit a less polished but more funked up version.

Nevertheless, their sound is refined and enjoyable. The lyrics on 'Happy Slap’ are uplifting and fairly amusing, while 'Under The Thumb’ has a more sobering base. This EP comes in advance of their debut album sometime soon, but if you can’t wait for that, they’re always available at their bustling residency at Oliver’s Bar in Greenwich.

Well worth a visit, to the bar, the EP or the album.
