The Little Ones

Oh, MJ! is a neat and tidy three and a half minutes of easy pop formed around a sparkly spacious guitar, a driving, uncomplicated bass line and vocals so unthreatening they make Bambi seem aggressive. The band, away from their California home, have just begun a UK tour as support to Boy Least Likely To (with later dates supporting Tilly and the Wall) and are relishing the chance to promote their latest single and the forthcoming mini album Sing Song. While perhaps not as immediately captivating and dreamy as debut single Lovers Who Uncover, Oh MJ! marks a seal on The Little Ones distinct floaty guitar and hauntingly sunny sound.
