Sorry but you know when you put on a song and it instantly reminds you of another one, well you can only fully concentrate on the new one once the old one’s name has been done and dusted. Finally I got it, Oasis with 'Supersonic’. Listen to the opening vocals that Tippi sings and tell me they are not delivered in form and shape if not tone as Liam’s 'I Need To Be Myself' quiff.
Yes, because Tippi is the lead singer of The Hedrons, (great name) an all girl rock band who release 'Heatseeker’ taken from their debut album 'One More Won’t Kill Us’ due for release on February 5th.
Well this is a bloody great single. Storming in undercover of a supersonic riff, it will rock the airways and have you searching for the repeat button. This could be a number 1 hit single with enough exposure and a damn good one it would make. Complete with a bass ,drum and vocal break, some really simple but splendid Steve Jones style guitar work and some dumb but catchy chorus lyrics and oh-ho’s to boot, it can’t fail to have you jumping around the kitchen. Got to see these ladies live is the next step, but for now the heat is on!
