Newton Faulkner

According to the PR blurb, singer song writer Newton Faulkner was the hit of the south coast surf season; and I can understand why. A talented guitar player and song writer, this mostly acoustic EP features some well crafted radio friendly songs, including an excellent live cover of Massive Attack's "Teardrop". Faulkner's sound is not a million miles from someone like Jack Johnson, and he has the same posh-girl-pleasing potential. A promising if slightly bland EP: if this guy takes off, he'll be all over Capital Radio by the end of the next surf season.
