A surprisingly tender song, Calm down dearest is the latest from South London's latest musical yoot. Jamie T is one of the new breed of home-grown and home-honed pop stars, hot on the heels of hoodie trailblazers like Mike Skinner, and uber-chav Lilly Allen. I'm all for it actually. Its nice to hear a regional accent on a record, even if the region is London, and this is a lot more original than much of what passes for pop music.
