The Hold Steady

These guys have been getting tipped for success left right and centre in the states, with comparisons to Thin Lizzy, Springsteen and AC/DC....... Don't get me wrong, the song is OK, quite catchy, but theres nothing new here, just another slab of faceless American Rock. No doubt the Yanks will lap it up and wash it down with a stufffed crust 15" Pizza, but not over this side of the Atlantic.
Buffalo Tom were doing this sound 15 years ago 10 times better........
