Infectious guitar-led pop from LA which claims to be on their press release, 'A joyous amalgam of wire-thin guitars, handclaps, Motown rhythms, the exuberance of the Go! Team and the cosmic wonder of the Flaming Lips'.

Their motto is 'we’re done with angst’. Well done with angst they may be, expressed on this single with their Californian year-old sunshine tunes and Scooby Doo looks. In short what you see is what you get. These boys are polished, tight and sound for me almost exactly like The Spinto Band with a mainstream edge. This in practice will translate to more popularity on a Magic Numbers type wave. I’m sure this name will be banded about in 2007, so keep an eye out if you’re done with angst or just in the mood for some upbeat happy clappy indie-pop.
