For a band to have been around as long as the Bluetones have there must be something special in the mix but they had slipped back a little over the last 18 months or so. With 'Head on a spike’ we have the best thing they have produced in some little while; choppy, ska-driven and with harmonies, real harmonies. This should be on every radio station playlist.
