'One word sums up McFly’s performance ' brilliant. This was helped by the intimate venue and a keen but not overly pushy audience that when combined created a great atmosphere. The only negative point that there was a later than anticipated start to the performance but the support artist, Simon Webbe did well at keeping the crowds entertained. This was quickly forgotten, however,as McFly belted out the majority of their greatest hits and shared a joke or two and some cheeky banter with the crowd in between. The highlight of the night has to be the finale when two of the band crowd-surfed which seemed quite risky from their perspective (due to the fairly small crowd) but was welcomed by an excited audience. I didn’t classify myself as a huge McFly fan before the performance but most definitely do now and bought their new album a couple of days later!’
