James Morrison follows on from the smash single You Give Me Something with another gravelly smooth, slick, rejoiceful three and a half minutes. The mid tempo Motown inspired emotion, while not as distinct as its predecessor, is nonetheless a decent showcase of a worthy vocal talent. His stock in trade, like that of Paolo Nutini, is an instantly recognisable voice, that is effortlessly soulful, deeply rich in texture and demands decent tunes. Wonderful World, from his Undiscovered album, is a fairly decent, if not safe, middle of the road affair, helped along by an ample use of horns. Not as memorable as You Give Me Something, but his voice is certainly hard to forget.
