The Fratellis

The underlying music to this reminds me a song by an amazing band from Denver called The Czars. But the vocals and the arrangements could not be more different. That is not to say one is worse or better though.

'Whistle for the Choir’ is one of the happiest-go-lucky songs out at the moment. It never fails to raise a smile, and sounds so wonderfully retro. It has managed to capture a feeling that is both homely, cosy and the type of song you could imagine sitting in your favourite boozer nursing a pint with a bunch of your best mates or similarly raising your arms at a summer festival.

Singalong classic indie, probably better suited to grinning idiots rather than shoe gazers.
