Albert Hammond, Jr

A little bit like the Strokes playing Snow Patrol. It has a softer edge, showing a side to Hammond Jr that might have gone unnoticed had he remained hiding behind his big old drum kit for much longer.
There’s a subtle xylophone flavouring the track in the background, punctuating Albert’s sexy, gravely voice. This is a good enough indie track, tightly played but largely forgettable. I’ll certainly look forward to what he does next.
