Death of a Star’ is laden with soft melodies and is like that one night stand who you forgot the name of as soon as they leave. A mediocre indie track that lacks drive and in need of an innovative edge to get ahead of countless other indie artists. In spite of of not blowing me away it has excellent production with well-placed harmonies. With smooth vocals and playful guitar it is painless but alas is instantly forgettable. Maybe next time..
